Our Story

Shiva Hospitals was founded with a singular mission: to bring world-class, affordable healthcare to the people of Guntur. What began as a focused nephrology practice under Dr. Siva Nagendra Reddy has grown into a full-fledged multispecialty hospital, now home to 12 departments and a team of dedicated specialists. Our nephrology department remains our cornerstone, having performed over 6,000 kidney stone surgeries and 400+ kidney transplants — a testament to our clinical excellence and the trust our community places in us. Today, Shiva Hospitals serves patients across general medicine, dental care, cardiology, urology, neurology and neurosurgery, ophthalmology, pulmonology, orthopedics and trauma, general and plastic surgery, and oncology, all guided by the same values of compassion, precision, and accessibility that we started with.
